please remember that vehicles may legally travel along open country
roads at speeds of up to 60mph. If possible, please walk along
the right side of the highway or the verge if appropriate. Please

Saint Oswald's Way
Alnwick District Council have recently published a set of 6 maps entitled Saint Oswald's Way with a long distance route from the Holy Island of Lindisfarne to Heavenfield on Hadrian's Wall. A total distance (in 6 stages) of 93 miles. The waterproof maps in a plastic wallet are available from Alnwick Tourist Information Office Tel. 01665 510665.
