A short walk but still quite challenging, with superb views of Cragside, the Coquet Valley and Simonside - requires a sense of Balance!
A more challenging walk along Lord Armstrong's old carriage drive, with views towards Hedgehope, Biddlestone Quarry and Cartington Castle.
An intermediate walk by Harbottle Castle and the River Alwin, leading past Clennel Hall and on to the village of Sharperton, over the River Coquet and back to Harbottle.
A moderate walk via Snitter, Lorbottle and Cartington Castle, with views of Simonside and the Coquet Valley.
